Austin will be host to one of several American Homebrewers Association (AHA) Rallies held nationwide. The AHA Rally will be on Sunday, May 17, the last day of American Craft Beer Week at Independence Brewing Company, 3913 Todd Lane #607 (78744) from 1 pm – 4 pm.
This celebration provides unique opportunities for homebrewers, including visiting a local brewery, meet their staff, and other beer enthusiasts and homebrewers in the area. Local homebrewers who register to attend are encouraged to take their tastiest homebrew to share with fellow guests, and to participate in the Keep Austin Beered Pro-Am Competition. The winner will be announced on-site.
Current American Homebrewers Association members can attend at no cost. Non- members can join online at www.homebrewersassociation.org/membership/join-or-renew/ or sign up for a discounted member rate at the Rally. An RSVP is required for the event and additional details are available on www.homebrewersassociation.org/aha-events/rallies/rally-rsvp/
