East Austin’t 3rd Annual 4th of July Parade honoring Barrio Veterans

pic_paradewebEl Concilio Mexican-American neighborhoods and Lulac District 12 will hold it’s 3rd Annual pre-4th of July Parade in The Barrio honoring all our Barrio Veterans of all military branches and their families on Saturday, June 28, 2014. Our parade Grandmarshall this year is David Perez, Pastor of Victory Outreach.
The parade will begin at Cesar Chavez and Broadway St. line-up will begin at 8:30am at East Lumber company parking lot. We invite all low-riders cars, walkers, runners, dogs on a leach and open to all. The parade will take off at 9am West on Cesar Chavez St. towards Chicon St. turn left onto Chicon to Jesse E. Segovia and join the Cristo rey Jamica in progress . There will be a military service in memory of all men and women who served our Country following the parade at Fiesta Fardens. To be followed by music from los Texas Wranglers. free no admission. This is a family event no sale of alcohol. plenty of rich tasty Mexican food booths, tastey aguas, from all regions of Mexico and plenty of Hot and Apple pie.
